Dnes sem po dlouhé době přibudou jen dva velmi stručné letní příspěvky. Nejprve úplně letní koláž z Jiřic, kde jsem se ve společnosti Evičky a psů bezostyšně válela celý týden. Živily jsme se v podstatě hektolitry frappé, tousty, saláty, a melounem. Většinu času jsem prospala, na práci jsem ani nesáhla a celý týden utekl tak rychle, jako už žádný dlouho ne.

Today I will add two brief summer posts. First, a totally sunny collage from Jiřice, where I spent a couple of days in Evička's and the dogs' company. The week was a celebration of laziness; I got no work done whatsoever, slept most of the time, and consumed vast amounts of frappe, toasts, salad, and watermelon. The week was gone in no time, as was to be expected.




Další fota jsou z grilování u Honánka minulý týden. V počtu cca deseti lidí jsme zkonzumovali neuvěřitelné množství uruguayského hovězího ve steacích i carpaciu, vepřových a krevetových thajských špízků, lososa gravad lax, salátu, a nevím, čeho ještě. K tomu hodiny společenské konverzace usnadněné vynikajícím uruguayským vínem. Není nad letní obžerství pod širým nebem! Jedinou pihou na kráse byla večerní prohra ve fotbale, která zkazila náladu mužské části osazenstva, a prokousnuté předloktí od Růženy, které zase lehce rozladilo mě. Nemůže být každý večírek dokonalý.

The following pics are from the grill party at Honánek's from last Sunday. We consumed kilos of uruguayan beef in the form of steaks and carpaccio, we had some pork and shrimp skewers marinated in coconut milk and thai spices, we had salmon gravad lax, a bucket of salad, and I don't know what else. On top of that, we drank plenty of excellent wine. Nothing can beat outdoors overeating! The only thing which spoiled the party a little was the loss of the Czech team in the evening's football match, which saddened the guys among us, and an arm bitten through by a certain ginger-coloured dog, which managed to piss me off. Oh well.
